Let this be a lesson learned to everyone to chek ALL charges to your home phone bill. I called our home phone company to change our services and the customer service represenitive noticed the charge of $12.95 in the misc. And other charges section of our bill and suggested that I call this company called IDL teleservices, Inc.
Upon doing so I discovered that they are a voicemail company that has been charging us every month for 14 months because some one else NOT US went to a website and registered our phone number. Apparently this company doesn't bother to verify if the person registering is the same person that owns the phone number, oh and your phone service provider I guess takes it for granted that you have authorized these charges.
I did get intouch with a service rep. Ai IDL teleservices and we are being credited $181.60 to our home phone bill but if this hadn't been brought to our attention we would have probably never know since we just pay the bill and moveon. This is a lesson learnd for us and I just want to let others know to be careful and read each and every line on all of your monthly statements
