Service Issues/Faulty Products/Coercion

On December 19th I was contacted by a sales rep named Bobby at Northglenn dodge who was interested in my PT Cruiser that I had for sale. During the phone conversation we set up an appointment to come in and talk about negotiating a deal. The next day, December 20th I arrived at Northglenn Dodge at 10am. After their appraiser saw my vehicle they had a few vehicles in the lot that they were willing to part with. My negotiating point was that I wanted something with 4 wheel drive, relatively comparable mileage to my car and money back. I was shown a few vehicles, none of which I really wanted, even after giving the salesmen a very clear idea of what I was looking for. The first vehicle they tried to put me in was a Montero sport which upon test driving it, the vehicle would slide into gear and you couldn't even engage the 4x4. After returning to the dealership I was given a new sales rep, Nick. Nick proceeded to show me vehicles I didn't want and by this time it was well past 1pm. The last vehicle that was pulled for me to test drive was a '97 blazer. I didn't want the blazer, I showed interest in a '99 dodge Dakota as being my vehicle of choice. At this point Nick and I took the '97 blazer for a quick test drive. It has an alignment problem which I pointed out right away, to which Nick blamed on the uneven road or tire pressure and an issue with the 4 wheel drive, which I didn't think worked, but according to Nick and the "service" department it did. When we returned Nick presented me with a deal of a trade for my car and $1500 back to me. This sounded like a great deal, but once again I wanted the Dakota. I also wanted more time. I asked if I could have 24hrs to make my decision. It was after that statement that the sales manager TD came to our desk to talk with me. I explained to him that I wanted time to think about the deal, and that I was more interested in the '99 Dakota. Nick and TD quickly jumped in, stating that the Dakota wasn't a "mechanically sound" truck and that the drive train on this '97 blazer was in much better condition. While I was still hesitating, TD made a statement to me stating, "I'm not going to sell you a car that's gonna break down so that when I see you in the grocery store I'm gonna have to hide." TD then asked "what is it gonna take to put you in that blazer?" I told him $2000 back. At this point it's nearly 3pm and I've been ready to leave for a while. Once TD cleared the payment of $2000 back to me the deal was done. I was told I was getting a solid truck, mechanically sound. I finally left soon after in the '97 blazer, however less than 10 miles from the dealership smoke began to pour from underneath the hood and the oil pressure dropped. I pulled the car into a gas station and parked it. I immediately called the dealership and explained what happened. They told me they would send a wrecker to get the truck. I waited close to 3 hours for the wrecker to arrive and once again I was back at the dealer. They took my truck to the service center and gave me a loaner car for the meantime. The next day I picked up my truck, they stated that they had fixed the problem, and that it was nothing more than the sending unit and a new belt. Less than 24 hrs after I had my truck, the engine began making a squeeling sound, like a loose best or bad tensioner pulley. I also noticed that oil now has begun to leak towards the front of the engine. To cap it off today December 25th only 5 days after purchase, when it snowed 6 inches in Denver, I thought I'd try out the 4x4. Well it doesn't work either. Five days after purchase, I have a vehicle that leaks oil, need an alignment and doesn't have 4 wheel drive. My suggestion is to stay away from Northglenn Dodge at all cost!!!
