Purchase Brand New Palm TX in January. The Digitizer never worked as well as the Palm IIIe that I owned for 10 years.in August I sent the unit in for replacement. New unit worked better but in November the digitizer exhibited problems. I contacted customer support for the second time when the second unit started to malfunction. I was told to do the hard reset. The solution was to give Palm a credit card number. How do I know what the second unit was? Was it a refurbished unit that later failed? Should I pay more money for a temporary repair or for another refurbished unit that will later fail. So I smashed open the TX and took out the battery and threw the rest into the garbage.
