When you are a single parent with 5 children you try to do all your shopping all in one place for convience. Forget it. Especially when you have to exchange something for wrong size or take it back when it doesn't work.
This Wal-mart rude nasty costumer service department don't live up to there moto. When I had to take something back for an exchange bacause it simply did not work. They acted like I was trying to rip off the store. They wanted a reciept which I didn't have because it was a present from a friend.
I just simply wanted a new one, but they had to sit there and argue with me. I had all my children standing there and there treating me like some kind of criminal. Talking down to me like I was nothing. It took over 30 minutes to simply drop off the damaged material. Then to get a new one and get out the store with it took an additional 45 minutes. Just because they wanted to argue with the exchange. It was in its original packaging, but still they had to argue with me with the amount of exchanges I have made.
But when you do your shopping with 5 kids, you don't have time to do lots of trying on clothes, and sometimes purchase the wrong size not to mention keeping the reciepts that they want, I mean if you return it with tags still on, what's the problem. I have done my shopping at Wal-mart for the past 13 years, and not until we got our new store did I have any big problems with this store.
I would hate to take my business to another store for the convience sake, but it is not worth the the demeaning repercution you recieve. I spend an average of $700 or more dollars in this store a month between food and other items, and I know that I am not the only one. You would think that they didn't want to loose such valuable customers, but I guess that I was wrong.
