Reported to the Department of Labor & Industry in Oregon in September Ms. Darcy Summers, a single female in her mid thirties, worked for a faith based non-profit company in Southern Oregon.
Ms. Summers, according to the report, had agreed on pay in a live-in mission, supporting teens in residence. Summers, upon leaving her position without notifying the company, filed a complaint with the State of Oregon, falsifying her hours, alledging she was owed approximately $8000.
The company agreed to settle with Summers for approximately $3000 plus. Summers breached her signed agreement, falsified hours, and attempted to support her position by attempting to enroll an employee to attest in agreement.
