Eric Sommers, Senior Job Bank
Ripoff Sold me Reverse Mortgage Leads then stopped sending them work at home scams

I contacted this guy earlier this year about a "business opportunity" that he was offering, regarding Reverse Mortgages for Seniors. As a Mortgage Broker, I was interested in offering Reverse Mortgages

The agreement was to work to work like this: I pay a fee of $3,500.00 for an "exclusive territory" in the region where I live. His website is designed to generate leads from Seniors interested in Reverse Mortgages. According to the agreement, he will, in turn, forward all leads generated from my territory for me to contact and follow up with.

All went well for several weeks, as I received 3-5 leads per day and contacted all of the leads sent to me. After about 2-3 weeks, the leads just stopped coming in, and I was no longer receiving contact from Eric Summers. I had to send several emails to him to get a response, and when I did receive a response, it was essentially various excuses as to why the stopped coming in. When I persisted, the leads started coming back in.

The Senior Job Bank is also connected with a lender located in Maryland that originates the loans for the Reverse Mortgages generated through the Senior Job Bank website. They were very good to deal with and helped me quite a bit (at no cost to me).

I had to inform the lender, however, that since I had not closed any loans, and had nothing in the pipeline, I would have to return to work full time, and would only be available to work mortgages on a part-time basis. When Eric Summers was told this, The leads that I had paid for, stopped coming immediately.

Many attempts were made to contact Eric Summers, and the emails were not responded to and the phone calls were not returned. I finally had an attorney friend send some "crisp" letters to Eric Summers, and he responded by essentially saying to go ahead and sue him if I wanted my money back.

In the end, the amount owed to me would not justify the cost of going to court, so he essentially took my $3,000.00 and kept it, providing only a fraction of the agreement.

Please do not use any service provided by Eric Summers, or the Senior Job Bank, as this is an individual that does not provide the services he sells, and is not interested in doing the right thing with an unsatisfied customer.
