Broken Contract-Charges

I have a cell phone with sprint and for an extra 10.00 I got a second phone, which I thought was 1 contract. Now I find out it is 2 contracts.

I talked to an awful woman from Sprint and she told me she would charge me for 2 contracts if I cancelled, Now I find out on news from the internet that what they are doing on charging for broken contracts is illegal. Does anyone have info on that. It was on News on MSN 8-1-08
