I subscribed to an online dating service called Pet People Meet. My account preferences were set to not automatically renew at the end of the subscription. At the end of my subscription, I was denied access to the profiles and was sent an email to renew my subscription. I did not elect to renew the subscription.
The following month I noticed that People Media was still withdrawing funds from my bank account. I sent an email notifying them of the error. I received a response that they needed the last four digits of the card on file. I provided this information to them two times however that did not stop them from continuing to remove money from my bank account. They also had my telephone number on file and have made no attempt to contact me by phone or email other than to request renewing my subscription.
To date I have sent them four emails. They have withdrawn over 5 months of fees from my account. This company does not provide any phone numbers or physical address on any of their online dating sites. These dating sites have obviously been set up to scam peolple!!!
