So I called to find out how much a nurse would be and some young rude girl told me $147.00. It clearly shows on there web-site the only extra charge costumes are Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. So o.K. I told them I need to find out more details about the person I was sending it to and would call back. So I found out the good time to send one of these people to his job and called back to set it up.
At that time a different women was on the phone, took my order, I told her I was quoted $147.00 and someone else in the background said, yes that price was quoted. So I gave her my credit card number and had everything set.
About an hour later I got a call from the company saying they don't have a nurse available in this area for that time because she was already booked for something else (I figured they would have had there employees schedules) and then she said o.K. Well I have a call into someone else and will call you back.
Half an hour later the Manager calls and tells me they don't have a nurse for $147.00??? I then asked why would you place an order without knowing what the heck is going on, and why are you quoting prices for something that isn't available? She said she could get a nurse, but it would be $167.00. I then reminded her about how the web-site says the only up-charge costume is Marilyn and Elvis.
She suggested a man, but being this was for a man I didn't want that. She finally said fine, $157.00 and the company will eat the rest. It was crunch time for me so I said whatever and paid the extra $10.00.
After my friend got the telegram he said it lasted 50 seconds and she started singing while he was on the phone so he didn't even understand what was going on. After I told him how much it was he said he would call the company and complain, I decided to do this instead.
If you are considering doing this for someone-send them a candy bouquet or something else, because it will be money wasted.
