I called and scheduled an appointment for my 5 year old son at 3:30 in the afternoon because he has a cavity. I made it for that time because he doesnt get out of school till 3:00pm. They did a reminder call and told me that his appointment was at 3:00. I told them no and told them AGAIN why it had to be at 3:30. They looked again and then told me that it was actually put in the system for 3:15. I told them that I couldnt be there till at least 3:30. Then today they called me AGAIN and told me that his appointment was at 1:00. I told them AGAIN that it was at 3:30. They again asked if I could be there at 3. And again I told them no, it has to be 3:30. They told me to go ahead and come in at that time.
When I got him there and back into the exam room, they told me that I had to wait in the waiting room. I told them no I was not leaving my 5 year old by himself. This was his first time to the dentist and he was scared.By this time he was crying. The nurse told me that they just had a 4 year old girl in there and she was fine. I told that nurse that that was not my child. She told me that it was policy that I had to wait in the waiting room. I told her once again that I was not leaving him. She went out of the room and then another nurse came in and told me that I had to wait in the waiting room. I told her no I am not. He is crying and scared and I am not leaving him. She left mad. Then the other nurse came back in and cleaned his teeth. During the cleaning my son started to cry because it was scaring him. She told him to stop crying, she was not hurting him. Then he starts to gag because he was crying and had the instrument in his mouth. She was irritated that he was doing that and that she had to stop.
When she was done, she told me that when the doctor came in, he would look for any cavities and he would fix them. I told her that is the reason for this appointment because he has a cavity. 15 minutes went by and she came back in and told me that the doctor would be back in the office in about 15 minutes. (He had left for the day before seeing the rest of appointments.) They asked if I wanted to wait or come back in tomorrow at 4:00. I told them no thanks, I am leaving and I will not be making another appointment with them. They were very unprofessional and the inside of their building was not very clean.
