So I was looking for a job and I post my resume on Monster.in a few days, a young woman calls me saying that they read my resume and were impressed with my background and wanted me to come in for an interview. I was like, aight cool. So I go in some time that week and meet Andrea. Very sweet lady.

So I sit down and she makes me fill out a form. So I do that and give it back. A few minutes later, this guy comes out and calls me in for the interview. I find out his name is Eric. At first I was a little pessamistic cause he had the whole salesman smile going on, and his suit was wrinkled and missing a button... Anyways, the interview lasted all of 5 minutes and apparently he was so impressed, he immediately wanted me to do a second interview.

His words, "usually I have to discuss this with management but, I'm going to bypass them and ask you to come back tomorrow." Yea, right. I thought you were the President of the company. Well, he tells me to wear comfortable shoes and he'll see me tomorrow. Ok, cool. So I go back and much to my surprise, there are like 7 other people there. So I sit down and poor Andrea hands me some more paperwork to fill out.

Then she puts this video on for us to watch to get a gist of what's so great about the company and how you can be making 6 figures within a year. I was a bit skeptical but still, I didn't want to knock it till I tried it. All of a sudden, there is massive commotion coming from a back room of a bunch of people yelling and screaming and chanting JUICE. I actually thought it was kinda funny. So finally after about an hour, I get called in and meet with one of the guys that works there.

Nice guy, great smile. So Eric says that we're going to an event to raise awareness for some non-profit charity. I'm thinking, aight we're going some where where's there's gonna be a bunch of people and other companies doing the same thing. So I hop in his car, with his partner, some other guy who was also pretty nice and we drive. He asks me a bunch of questions and I politely answer them.

A few minutes later we pull into a 7-11. I'm thinking that we're stopping to get a coffee or something and to my surprise, we're at the "event." I'm like, WTF... They pull out a table and some DARE t-shirts and cheesy toys and set them up on the table and basically tell people to come over and buy the stuff. I actually had a good time cause the guys were fun and entertaining so I figured there must be more to this cause Eric started there and look where he's at, the president.

So after like 8 hours outside, we go back to the office and I have to fill out a questionaire and then go for a 3rd and final interview. So I do that and a little while later, I get called back, Eric says the guy liked me alot and hires me right on the spot. I was like, great... I was actually pretty excited. Well, I wind up working there like 3 months and I got to see what really went on. You only get paid commission. So, if you make no sales, you get no money.

Half of these places were 30-45 minutes away and sometimes an hour away and you don't get compensated any gas money. No matter what the weather is, you stand outside alllllll day. They set up in front of gay ass places like 7-11, Petsmart, BOA, Advance Auto, Pep Boys, Qdobas, Care a lot, Total Wine, etc, and if you're lucky, maybe a department store at the mall. Why I stayed there as long as I did, I don't know.

I got to travel to a few places out of state which was cool, but we got no gas money compensated and we'd drive like 6 hours to the place and go to a meeting for like 3 hours and drive right back. I wound up getting advanced pretty quickly but I really thought this was going to be a good career until I really saw what it was about. It's definetaly a scam. Eric and a girl names Krista are definetaly great sales people. I was so caught up in trying to do good, that I was doing to the public and whatever days of observations I had that was done to me and that's being lied to.

I made it sound like it was the best job ever. And, when you get teams, they're basically the ones who help you get promoted and if they quit, you're screwed. You kinda have to start at square 1 to try to get another team together. It was just really chaotic and you're sucked into a bunch of lies. What opened my eyes was when Eric was really upset at us and called the leaders into his office and said that he doesn't owe us anything and we're not special and he don't care if you bust your a* day in and day out to try to make money, it's your job and you do it and that's it.

You have no right to bitch or complain. And then he said get out of his office. And we wound up working almost till 8 that night. I quit right after that. I felt so stupid to stay at that BS job and it wasn't going to get me anywhere. Don't go there. It's crap. They talk the talk to make you try to sound like you're someone special when the truth is you're replaceable and he don't care. You worked holidays and if you were a leader, it would be a good thing to work Saturdays cause it shows initiative.

Yea, whatever... It's not a job. Don't fall into their salesman crap. Alot of us were really hurt and realized that he was an a—hole. I have much better job now and I'm glad I got out when I did. Heed my advice. It's not all it says it is.
