Rebates not issued

I purchased two cutlery sets, roaster pans, and serving platters that came with a rebate. I submitted the proofs of purchases from the boxes the items came in, the rebate form, plus register receipt. Several months later I received a post card from the company stating the items were missing. The rebates were only approximately five dollars each, but it was the principle of the thing.
