Staples advertises rebates to lure buyers, but then does not pay those rebates.
I carefully submitted all items (completed forms, sales slips, proofs of purchase) required by the rebate forms, but two rebates were denied. I took photocopies to the Staples store and the assistant manager cconfirmed that I had indeed submitted the required items.
Staples and its vendors offer the rebates assuming that most buyers will not actually submit the claim forms, but then withhold rebate payyments even when submitted. They use such ruses as stating I had not purshsed the correct prodcut event hough the 12-digit product code on the box, on the sales slip, and on the rebate form match exactly.
