I accepted an offer to try VONAGE fro 2 months. Before the two months was up I canceled the service because comcast said they could keep my number (& did). After notifying VONAGE of cancellation they said I would be billed for a cancellation fee, I objected and had to sit through 1/2 hour or more of them not acknowledging my cancellation. When I enrolled there was an option for a rebuilt adapter for free. On cancellation they charged me $70.00 plus the $39.00 cancellation fee. These terms were never explained to me when I enrolled on the phone. It seems unreasonable to me to pay $70.00 for something that was free and within my tryout period. Watch out for this company.
