After approximately 18 months of no contact from this Dating service I called today 6/16/08. Suzy the office manager informed me that she herself for awhile there did not know that the business had changed hands but because this is business she had to follow the new policy. The new policy is to not honor client's contracts under the prior owner.
In I paid $2,100.00 for 30 referrals of which I only completed 15. (I know this because Suzy read from off my account in the computer). According to the new business owner in order for me to get the rest of 15 referrals I would have to pay another $500.00.
Please do not be judgmental. We are all capable of making bad decisions. If I had to do it over again, I certainly would not have paid that kind of money to meet 30 people. Decisions based on emotional energy is not the way to make decisions.
It's the principle of the matter, these new owners are ripping off people. Any honest business would honor the contracts of prior clients. If they made a bad investment and got ripped off themselves they shouldn't take it out on the clients who paid for a service they are now denying unless we pay more. That is extortion.in simpler terms that is stealing.
