My contract was up, so I bought a Palm phone with internet access. The sales person told me the charges for this phone. What she did not tell me is that the plan with this Palm phone increases all my phones. I have four phones, which three of them were at the rate of $9.99. With the Palm phone plan, those three phones went up to $20 each. When I got my bill, I called Alltel, I was told there was nothing they could do, I would have to pay the bill. The plan includes unlimited text messaging, nights and weekends unlimited calls. I already had those at the rate I was at. I called and spoke with a manager, he said I had to stay with that plan because of the Palm phone and that I signed a 2 year contract, so I was stuck with it. I am furious! If the sales person would have told me that my other phones would go up to $20, I would not have gotten the Palm phone. I do not understand why the other phones have to go up. I have gotten no where with Alltel on this. I have been with Alltel for 10 years and I have never had a problem with them. But this is just criminal. How can just charge me what they want without even telling me?
Does anyone know who I can report them to? I would love to hire an attorney and sue them, but I do not know if I can do that. I really need some help with this.
