The first order we were told there would be a 25% discount on all orders placed if we purchased their freezer. The company was suppose to call when it was time to reorder. Didn't happen, we had to call them to get a 2nd order.
At the 2nd order we purchased cookware and cutlery, to get a total 50% discount on all food orders for life (per their paperwork). We were over charged was told a correction would be put thru with Jefferson Financial, never happened.
All orders stopped at this point. Couldn't get a return call from the company. We've been paying on appliances receiving no discounts on food because no food was delivered anymore. After 9 months, finally talked with cust. Serv. Mgr, John Keating - asked why all food service stopped (he didn't know why). Told him the cookware was falling apart and we still had food to be returned (old). He sent a rep to my home to take an order and pick up the defective appliances. The food was to be picked up when the new order was delivered.
At this time the rep informed us the company could not finance food orders under $1,000.00 and that we would have to pay for the order up front. We were not told this when we purchased the appliances to get a 50% discount on the food. After complaining John Keating said the owner would finance the order. The order was to be delivered 1/14/08 then 1/21/08 then 2/2/08. Never saw another food order. This has happened with 3 other families that I know. Result, we are paying for appliances we can't use because the owner Tony Perchemlian, president of LTT Gourmet has them in his possession.
On 2/4/08 I asked Tony Perchemlian, president of LTT Gourmet to buy back the Agreement for the appliances because he was in breach of the Agreement obligations. He said, Thats not going to happen sue me...
In February '08 Tony Perchmlian finally faxed us a letter stating for all the discounts we didn't receive, he would make up in food and he would pay half the outstanding bill to Jefferson Financial. To date nothing has been delivered, nothing has been paid to the finance co. And the appliances haven't been returned fixed or otherwise.
As for Jefferson Financial I was accused by a Mr. Goldman of setting companies up. I was told by him "You've done this before victimizing companies..." Jefferson has sent letters to pay, we've called to speak to the person sending the letters, they are never available and we never get a returned call. The finance company realizes they have a cash cow with Tony Perchemlian's way of operating. Tony and his crew tags us and Jefferson Financial bags us.
Unfortunately Tony and his financiers are screwing over senior citizens, and families with children. Obviously the court system isn't working. We victims need to put our heads together - if you're a victim, please contact me.
