I went shopping at the McCart Thrift Center on 2/16 and spent over $50. Customer appreciation Sunday I was suppose to get 50% off purchases up to $100. I went back to shop there on Sunday and was refused my 50% off. I showed employees my receipt from the previous day purchase and the credit card I used to make the purchase. They still refused to give me my 50% off. I ask to talk to the manager and was told she was "off and won't answer her phone." I was told to come back on Monday 9AM to 6PM when she would be at work. I told store employees I work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 12 hour shift and won't be able to come back until Thursday. Store employees told me they can bag the things I was going to purchase and save it for me at the desk. I had my name written on a piece of paper to attach to the bag. I told store employees I was comming back on Thursday to talk to the store manager and to purchse the stuff on hold for me. I called the thrift store the following Monday morning and spoke to the store manager about the situation and told her I will be coming to the store on Thursday. I told her my things are on hold at the front desk and make sure it's there when I return on Thursday. I went to the thrift store Thursday morning and was told my things were put back to the store for sale. I am mad that the store did not honor my 50% off and that the things they say were on hold for me was returned to sale. They broke two promises.
