We purchased a Sears kenmore vacumn cleaner on June 29 and paid $329.99 for it. 5 months later it broke down and we returned it for repair. They gave us a new machine. Then that machine broke down again 11 months later and we returned it, this time we didn't want another
machine as it was proving to be a lousy product. They said they'd only give us 80% of our money back because the "satisfaction guarentee" was only good for two months. The reciept clearly states "satisfaction guarenteed or your money back".

In the store, over every vacumn cleaner is this same claim. They do not say void after two months. On the back of the reciept they claim..." We hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase if for any reason you are not satisfied simply return your purchase with your
receipt within a reasonable period of time from the date of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase after a
reasonable period of time, please let us know. We want to make an adjustment that you will consider fair."

The fact is Sears already has a policy that determines what is "within a reasonable period of time" (which is two months) and they absolutely did not consider what I felt was fair. I even said, " that doesn't feel fair
to me" and the head manager told me to shop elsewhere!
