I went to get my hair braided at the shop on Washington Road and when making the appointment told the stylist that I had a gift certificate and asked her if I could use it. She said yes and to come in. I went to the shop and got my hair braided and when finished proceeded to pay with a gift certificate and cash and they would not take the gift certificate. They stated that they only take it at the other shop in Clearwater, South Carolina. So, I had to go to the ATM to get another $100 to pay for my hair.
I called the owner at the other shop and she said that I could use it there and I responded that I just wanted my $100 back because that's why I came to the shop in the first place. Since then I have been getting the runaround because they state that Ms. Aicha is out of town. Also, while being serviced the ladies would take hour brakes and spoke in African the whole entire time.
Never go there unless you want to be scammed.
