In my experience I asked for a service and the employees would not perform it. I needed to highlight my hair with bleach. Although I was aware it could harm my hair I wanted it done anyway. I even explained to them I would take full responsibility if it did damage my hair.
I had a 150.00 gift certificate to use for it and when they would not do my hair, I obviously wanted a refund as I needed to go to another salon to have the work done that day. They refused. Even the owner would not negotiate. The gift certificate does NOT say not refundable. Because of their inability to perform a simple highlight job, I feel I am now out of 150.00 because obviously I do not want to go back to them.
Last year I had a similar problem with a gift certificate, however I received a gift certificate this year and I figured I might as well use it.
I dont usually complain about things but this incident was rediculous. I went to a competitor of theirs the next day and of course they did my hair and it looks great with absolutely no damage to my hair.in fact they even stayed late just to perform the service I needed.
