This is the biggest SCAM going. I was warned not to use this service and I went against the advice I received and use priceline anyway. I could not understand why they wanted my credit card information BEFORE they could show me flight itnerary. I placed a bid but could not find a flight for the time of day I needed, so I logged off of the site and searched the airlines directly (old school) I did not receive any kind of confirmation that I was even being charged or that a flight had been purchased. What I did receive was (and I only know because I inquired at my bank why I had the charge) a $253.00 charge to my account. I have been trying to call priceline all day but it is impossible to find a "Live Person" to talk to. I have three different phone numbers that all do the exact same thing. I cannot believe that the government would allow a business not to have any kind of a way for consumers to contact customer service. I understand now why they ask for your credit card up front. It's because they are going to charge it no matter what and there is nothing you can do about it!!! Except to eat the charge! This site is garbage as well as this company. I used them once and will never use them again... Ever. And yes, i am going to tell all my friends and their friends and anyone in shouting distance.
