I have been looking for a pug puppy, I found a dog breeder Kelzpugz.com she did not have any puppies at the time but she hosted all the information of a friend Teresa Rose of RedRose Kennels who I agreed to buy a puppy on her website. She told me to send her a deposit to hold the puppy, which I did. I tried emailing her a couple times to get an update or a picture to see how the pups were doing.
I started feeling like something wasn't quite right because she took about a week to answer me. Prior to this she would answer me within hours. She finally wrote me that all but 2 puppies have died from the litter, she blamed it on a bad batch of vaccines! She said she would understand if I didn't want the puppy and would send me back my deposit.
As a vet tech I saw that as a huge red flag. I have never seen a breeder wipe out a whole litter from bad vaccine and we deal with many breeders. Even if it is the truth no matter what the reason, I know things happen mistakes can be made but I didn't want to take the risk and buy an unhealthy puppy. I contacted her with my decision and told her where to send my deposit. So 2 weeks went by with no response, no deposit. Finally after contacting Kelly Mauer of Kelzpugz.com to help me, I got a very nasty email from Teresa saying she had no intention of sending me my money back. "Had she known I would actually change my mind she never would have offered me back my deposit"
So beware this women is only in it for the money, will not stand by her word, and she is a thief. Dealing with this horrible women and looking for a new puppy, I found there are 2 types of breeders in the world the good ones that have integrity and honesty toward their client. They hold the health and soundness of their pups most important and will stand behind that. They really care where their puppies get placed. They are only breeding Champion bloodlines or an excellent representation of the breed standard.
Then we have the bad ones that have no regard for the client, or the health of the pups, only in it for the money, cheap with their vet care, will breed anything to keep pounding out the litters, don't care who buys them. Then will lie and steal from you and not stand buy their word, they also usually have several different breeds PUPPY MILLS!!! I took the time to write this to alert people of these thieves, to do your homework, don't make the same mistake I did. I don't know how this women sleeps at night. I think they get away with it far to often because the buyer/victim usually just gives up. Well I promise I'm not going to give up yet.
