Took more than $200 out of my bank account... Not once, but twice!

When me and my husband first got Dish Network, we were not satisfied with the service. We were told that within the 1st month we could cancel without paying any anything. So thats what we did... Called and canceled within the first month. A few days later we noticed that Dish had taken, without our consent, $225 from our checking account. We called them to see what in the world was going on, and they informed us that we had ended our 18 month contract before it was time to. We explained that we canceled within the first month and blah blah blah, but it made no difference. Finally we made a deal with them, that we would get the service turned back on, but they were not to charge us anything, just let the $225 that they took from us, pay our monthly bills, and when that money was gone, we would start paying. So we have been waiting and waiting for that contract to be up, so we could get rid of the sucky service. FINALLY the time came, and we canceled, with much harassment from them on why. So they send us the box through UPS to send the equipment back... We've had a very busy 2 weeks, and just didn't have time to drop it off at the UPS store. Yet again, the took it upon themselves to take $245 out of our bank account, without our consent!!! This cannot be lawful! What gives them the right to do this? Dish Network is the WORST company I have ever dealt with in my life! They have the biggest, non-english speaking idiots working for them, that know nothing about nothing.
