I had used another dating service at no cost and was completely unhappy with them. I met with Pamela from It's Just Lunch and was reluctant to actually spend money on a service when the other one seemed so useless. Pamela convinced me to join with the representation that she would refund my money if I tried it and wasn't happy. I agreed based upon that representation. The first month, they did schedule two dates, only one of which took place. After that, they would promise to call and then I wouldn't hear from them. They would call the last week of the month to schedule some dates because their contract promises a minimum of two dates per month. I told them I wanted to cancel my membership and receive a refund. They told me that I would have to speak with Pamela. She called me back and left a voice message that they never give refunds. I then received a letter unilaterally placing my account on hold.
