It's Just Lunch have not delivered the services agreed to within the contract. I was required to pay the full amount of $2464.00 up front and It's Just Lunch agreed to contact me with "matches" and then set-up 10 dates within 12 months. They also agreed to extend the contract to 18 months if they were unable to provide 10 compatable matches within the first year.
Within the agreed upon services they promised:
- there were "many" matches meeting my criteria
- they would set me up on a date within a week
- to call me after each date to request feedback in order to improve future matches
- schedule the next match within a few weeks or as quickly as I was available to go on another date
- to contact me as new matches came available meeting my criteria
- put the contract on hold, at any time, for up to 6 months

After signing up and paying the fees on Dec. 16 I was promised a date within one week. After two weeks of no contact I left a voice message and when they finally returned my call two days later, I was told that they don't have any compatable matches at this time but that they would search and get back to me. I reminded them that they promised they had multiple matches meeting my criteria and that they would set up a date within 2 weeks. They said yes that is correct, but they were "short staffed" and would do their best to get a date scheduled within a week. Noone got back to me, so once again I called them. After another week they set me up on a date. The first date did not match the criteria I provided. A week after the first date I still had no phone calls from them, so I called to provide feedback and asked why they had not called me. They said that they do not call me and that I am required to call them to give feedback. They completely contradicted what they promised. I could find no language in their contract that states any of the services they verbally outlined.
After providing feedback on the first date they informed me that they would definitely take the feedback and provide a more compatable date the next time. I did not receive any phone calls for another three weeks. I left a number of voice messages. When they finally returned my call weeks later they told me that they were still short staffed and my request must have got missed when an employee left. Another few weeks went by with no phone calls. I called again and they said they might have a few matches and will call back. They arranged the second date, which way much worse, with respect to not meeting any of my criteria. I called them the next day and informed them that the second date was even worse and I wanted to cancel my contract and requested a refund. They told me that a manager would get back to me. This took weeks and many more phone calls on my part before I spoke with the supposed manager who told me they are unable to provide a refund, but they could put my contract on hold or try to find a better match.
Since that last conversation with the manager I have not received any more phone calls or any attempt on the part of It's Just Lunch to arrange dates or provide any services to me. I have made every attempt to provide feedback and work with them, but they have been unable to even meet the minimum obligation of the contract.
I want to at minimum receive a partial refund, as I am receiving "no services" from them.
