I called to close an account that was opened at a store now bankrupt (HomeBase), yet the account appears open on my credit report.
The CSR said that my info had been purged and there is no way to view whether my account is open or closed. She also refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor when I said I was dissatisfied with her answer.
I was instructed to write, but somehow based on the previous entries, I am uncertain that I will be vindicated.
