UPS did not deliver on time, leaving our Company High and Dry, What UPS imply's and what the provide as a service are two different things. UPS thru it's naltional and very expensive Commerical Media, Promise Things like next day, customer service, What they provide, is at the best, is only TRUE if you know the FINE PRINT. WE expected and paid for NEXT DAY service, To be at A Shop on Friday
For what ever reason, even if we paid for Next day service, and UPS Does NOT deliver NEXT DAY, They figure if it is to late UPS will deliver on Monday.
But, Why not deliver on Saturday. Becuse, Since UPS failed to make the the Friday deadline. (There fault not ours) Well UPS claims That to deliver on Saturday. We have to check on Thursday the day of shipping, a little box and pay extra for Saturday delivery. That would imply that we should know The future, that UPS will be unable to deliver on Friday, and that, we should and pay extra for Saturday. What kind of Customer Service Baloney, is that. IF UPS wants to live up to its promises, Figure in to the bottom line, the cost of screw-up's, like this one and MAKE THE SATURDAY DELIVERY.
It matters not to us, That UPS, will remover the Next Day charge, That will not help our reputation. We did it right, (UPS Screwed it up,), it will not help the other shop, (That UPS screwed it up,) The customer does not know that, all they know, it was not there for the Birthday.
IF and it is a big if UPS wants to be a 24/7 Global Deliver service Act like one, if not then go the way of Bear Stern, Just consider how many people, I and other like me, will no longer Trust, UPS service, Just check the internet, From what I have read, on line, plenty of people, already do not trust UPS, How much off bottom Line is that? Did the money UPS save, off set, Future income, from many people using another, service provider. Maybe the CEO and the CFO should talk, and decide what UPS stands for Customer service, or Unhelpfull Poor Service UPS.
