This is a rip off company. When they came to our apartment in california I showed them everything which is to be moved and they told me it will be around $4,000 and then they made me sign a blank contract. After packing and putting everything they told me its around $ 6,000 (its been over two years since then). Anyways, I made the payment.
Now when we moved to texas, I was still waiting to get an apartment (it was not more then two weeks since they had picked the stuff), they called and said they have my stuff in Austin. I told them why did you bring it when I dont have a place to recieve and I am getting my apartment in couple of days. They told me I have to pay the company in advance for the balance money as money order and I will also have to pay for holding and storing in Austin (I dont remember the actual amount for this. I think it was around $500). How can they try to deliver when they dont have an address where to deliver? We were with my mother-in-law at that time and were still waiting to get an apartment. I had to pay all that.
When I called their customer support the lady, called Edith, was very rude right from the word hello. I didnt make any further action at that time since everytime I would think about this incidence it would stress me out. Now I am over it (emotionally), I am trying to help others to avoid them.
