I worked for this company for two weeks, i first found this company on my job search when i wasn't making enough money at my current job then. I told my boss that I would be taking a few days off, unknown to him that I was getting an interview with KSL. I thought it was a dream job i mean most people i talked to were making over 100 bucks a day and they did it with ease.
It took me nearly a week to get the hang of things because I didn't get any training or anything. I didn't know how to correctly fill out forms or anything, and when I did get the hang of it, I always missed some little important detail, like forgetting to call for verification. I busted my butt for a whole week, avoiding everything else, even my girlfriend at the time. But believe me like everyone else has mentioned there are some good qualities about this company. During the second week I was sent with a team to Savannah to do some business there, of course I didn't learn anything. During that week we broke all the rules that could be broken, we went out for drinks the whole week.
When Ken called us for a review, he said I wasn't doing too good, and I'll admit that I wasn't and I knew it. After that call I just gave up, instead of going door to door, I sat on the curb wrote up a fake tracking sheet and smoked a pack a cigarettes. When my team came around I would claim that I didn't have anybody. I used my car for the whole week, and my car used only premium gas. The day before we left Ken positively confirmed that he would give us gas cards to use, I've never seen one. I put nearly 5,000 miles on my car just for this job and never got paid for it.
Anyway after the week in Savannah, I went through the usual morning activities and when it was time to go out, Ken fired me. I stormed out of there and left, I went home and started my job search again. After nearly a month of searching I started to forget about getting a job, I started drinking every night and even sleeping in my car when I couldn't drive home. I left everything I knew for this company and this is what I get.
After another month I lost my girlfriend, my car was reposed, I was down and out of my luck. I was borrowing money from friends even going as far as my sisters friends. Now I 'm back living with my dad down in Florida and I blame everything on this company. If they hadn't promised so much for so little, then I would have never fell for it. I guess my desperate need for money had something to do with it. I guess because I was raised in a good home that I learned that lying to get money is wrong. Maybe I will never know how the sales industry does it, but at least I will have my dignity and honor.
