On November 1, I ordered an asset search for hidden bank accounts to be done on someone I knew close. I paid $295.00 for that search. I called every month afterwards - each time Fred telling me that the type of search that I was paying to have conducted sometimes takes a long time.
On January 17, because the asset search was not completed, Fred wanted to be nice, and offered me a free background search. So, I inquired of doing a background search on someone that lived in Austrailia. He stated that since it was overseas he would have to charge at least what it would cost them. I said OK. So, I paid for another service ($100.00) which was a background search.
At first, I waited for an email of the background search since I did tell FRED to email me the result. At all times I reinerated that I wanted him to email the results. At no time did I ever receive any correspondence from Fred - not even a thank you for allowing him to provide a service for me.
So, I called and was told by FRED that neither search that I had ordered was completed. This timeframe of this call to him was probably at the beginning of February. Thereafter, I would put in a call at least once a month to inquire.
When I made my monthly call today, he stated that it had been 90 days now and received nothing from that asset search, so he was going to resubmit that search.
Then as far as the background check on the Australian, Fred stated that the person came back clean for a criminal check. He then states that I should have received that report because he put it in the mail to my home address in January. I told him that I did not receive that background check report.
This is where the term BARNEY FIFE comes in. Why would I (A married woman) want a background/criminal check report come to my home address that concerned this Australian Guy. I met over the internet and have become close friends with. As a married woman, why would I want the report to come to my home address?
So ladies, do not hire FRED at www.assetsearches.com & He is a BARNEY FIFE of an investigator. Even thought he did state to me that he mailed that report to my home address, I doubt seriously that any report was ever mailed to me. I question why he could email me the report. Does Fred not know how to work a computer or use email?
I would like a refund of $395.00 because I have not seen where FRED did any type of investigational work to deserve that fee. I have not seen any report whatsoever.
