US Records Search, Bank Accounts Search Paid $295 for records search and no results sent to me Internet

On 10/3 I contacted Checkmate International to do a records and asset search on an individual. Person named Fred required an electronic check for $295 to complete the search. Said it would bse completed within 3 to 11 business days. No responce since then. I have called one and got a run-around.
