I took a silk lined jacket to One Price Cleaning to have spots removed. When it was returned the spots were still there and a section of the material was all puckered. They sent it back to be redone and when it was returned it was in worse condition — the same spots, worse puckering of outside material and lining no longer fit the material. I paid $90.00 for the jacket from Talbots, and it was the first time cleaned. It was ruined and unwearable. The clerk in the store could not believe it had been sent back in such a condition.
He first offered me $15.00 which I told him was not an adequate settlement. He then said he would not give me one cent since I would not accept his inadequate offer.
