Portfolio Recovery Associates
They left an e-mail message to call about collection of a debt

We received phone message on 3/8/08 at 6:40 PM, with the following message: Again, the number is 1-800-860-0644. This communication will be with a debt collector in an attempt to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used for that purpose.'

We don't owe any debt, and have excellent credit reports.

We have searched the web, and found the number in a Google search caller-id reverses to Portfolio Recovery Associates A futher search found this 800 number on several websites including this one, which seem to indicate that they are scammers.

I did not respond to their call.
