I just received a letter from a lawyer telling me that they are suing me on behalf of Recovery Associates... The debt is NOT on my credit report anywhere, however Recovery Associates is only for pulling my report! They are telling me that I owe a debt that is atleast 9yrs old. I called capitol one (who they claim the debt is from) and they said that they have no record of my social security number in there system... Help. The lawyers name is Mary Jane Elliott, They are crooks as well. They got me to pay another debt which is also not on my credit report ANYWHERE... What do I do..
