I Paid off my furniture on 2/08/08 I bought a laredo mocha sectional, Lawson king footboard andheadboard and king rail, Laredo mocha ottoman, and bellecoffe Recliner. I was told by Glen Brady that everything was in stock except the sectional but the sectional would be in in about 5-7 business days. So I thought okay may business is doing great may be the sectional must be popular. Well my gilrfriend calls in to check on the sectional a week later and the sale rep was completly rude told her that she should come down and look for herself. I called back inmmediatley after she called me upset. I was told they could deliver my ottoman Footboard and headboard and King Rail and recliner now and sectional when it get's here.
I told the sale agent i am not going to pay for two separate delivery charges, that would be redicules. The sales rep told me to call back on tuesday because they were still out of stock but there should be a delivery. Need less to say I call back that tuesday, the rep explained that there were no sectionals on that truck there was some mixup. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for over a half hour. With a couple Agents picking up asking how can I help you looking up my information and placing me back on hold. They kept refering to me as " How can I help you MAM"
Well Thursday was my final straw After Picking my mom up from her Chemo therapy in 3-4 inches of snow here in Fairfield I called again to check on my furniture they still told the Sectional was out of stock. I immediatley asked for a Return on the amount of the Sectional the rep agreed to put $500.00 on my card and mail me a $432 Corporate check.
I headed directly straight to American Freight to get a refund as per the tone of my voice the rep knew who I was and the Agent appologized for the inconvenice and told me that he could give me free shipping on both shipments the sectional and the ottoman, recliner and footboard and headboard. The Agent told me he could have the Ottoman Recliner headboard and footboard and rail delivered on friday 2/22/08. My girlfriend and i waited all day friday without one phone call. When 7 a clock rolled around we finally called in to check on delivery times. I explained my situation and was then told I did have to pay shipping and that my products should be delivered within the hour. I told the rep that I was promissed free shipping for the inconveince. I had to describe the guy I was talking to and speak to two different individuals. Finally Brent the Supervisor picked up the phone. He said the last truck came in and my product would be delivered first thing saturday morning.
I felt a little bit of relief untill 4:00pm rolled around. My girlfriend called in once again to check on the shipping time we were told Brent would give us a call back the rep didn't even take down our number he was about to hang up when my girfriend gave him the #. Well when 6:00pm rolled around she finally called back and saked to speak directly to Brent. Brent explained he didn't even know he was supposed to call us. I took over the phone call and asked about the delivery Brent then told me that the King Head, Footbord, and Rail were in Florence Kentucky. I told him to just deliver the Ottoman, and recliner Brent told me it would be on the next truck funny thing this conversation took place on 2/23/08 at 6:00pm... It is now 7:45pm still no delivery still no recliner, still no footboard, hearboad, ottoman, rail, or sectional. I am fed up!!!
