I actually just found out about this as i was going threw the internent last night to find out if my dog was of champion bloodlines and exactly what that ment.instead i came across this scam which i do have paper trails to show what im about to say is true. A little stupid on my part but ignorant on hers.
I bought a dog may 25 from a lady named bernadette vohs who said there was a death in her family and that she had to sell the guys dog. A female fawn great dane 4 years old to sell akc regestered. So me and my husband live in edson alberta canada and decided that we would drive up and pick the dog up. That way she could have breaks on the trip home.
So we get to washington and asked if we could come get the dog. She said the next day would be better she was in the middle of supper and had company coming after. So we had to rent a hotel room. The next day we phone to see if we could meet her at the vets for the dogs vet check. I explained we had to get home due to my husbands job. This was around 10 am. She said no she had to see if her vet could squeeze her in late afternoon aroun 4 pm. She calls us to meets her at a park where she said she had to pick up her son. We take the dog known as zapatas gold and the bill of sale and a paper to transfer ownership.
On the way home i was looking over vet papers she was actually 5 years old turning 6 right away not 4 years old like she said. So i thought maby because it wasnt her dog. She wasnt sure the age. Then i check the akc paper and the dog was co owned by her. Rather than turning back or disputing anything i told my husband it was a misunderstanding and i already loved the dogs shy dispostion and we had a vet check and health certificate so we could cross the border. So it seemed all good. It had a vets signature so we thought all was well. My two daughters fell in love with her right away and then dec two weeks before christmas i wake up and she had died. There were no warning signs. Nothing we owned her for only 7 months alot of money and worse than that she was my daughters dog.
Just wait though it gets even worse. We decided to look for another dog this time closer to home. So i get a paper that has a 1 year old female greatdane reg who is in alberta only 2 hours away. I go pick her up and the dog was breathing funny. I took her to my vet and she had pnemonia which i thought could of been from lack of warmth from the lady i bought her from. Luckily she took her medicine and is fine right now but i have her papers which are akc and the owner breeder of this dog is jacki great singer-vohs/murray greatsinger who sold her to the lady i bought her from. Now after reading everything online im worried she could have come from any of these sick litters and then tradgedy again. She going to my vet for extensive testing just to be sure. I hope this lady gets as sick or as hurt as she has done to so many. What goes around comes around.
