We have ordered from the victoria's secret catalogue (for my wife) for the first time (and last) and using there size chart to a tee and decided on one size smaller than the chart indicated (i don't know much about fashion but i am a carpenter and know how to measure) and after about 10 very confusing e-mails stating that all has been shipped, then half the order has been shipped then 3/4 of the order has been shipped (you get the idea) once we had received everything, the pant suites were 2 sizes to big, now that's 3 sizes to big using the size charts on the website
After calling costumer service we had to place a new order and ship this one back at our expense
1st order = $272
2nd order= $245
re-ship = $27
Original cost for items = $198
Now a new set of confusing e-mails followed and we end up with one pant suit and half of the other one and an e-mail stating that it will be impossible to complete the order. Now that means that i must again ship an item back to them at my expense $14. Now they have $517 of my money and $41 of shipping cost to me for a $99 pant suit that we have in our possession. Now 14 days after receiving confirmation from Canada post (thank god i paid extra to get a signature confirming delivery) i called costumer service asking where was my refund and was told. It's not in our system call back in a week, the operator was a #$*&? By this time i had received my statement and had to take money from my account to pay all of this, close to a month.
So i call the following week only to told once again that my credit does not appear in the system, until i mention the signature from Canada post weeks ago and my credit magically appeared. After crunching the numbers with a confused operator i received my credit only to be about $30 short on my refunds
Now if you have money to lose and only have a part time job (to have the time to deal with this company) i suggest going to the mall and try something you like and go home, it's that simple
My experience with victoria'a secret
$558 held for a $99 item and close to six weeks for a refund and under by $30 not counting cnd/usd exchange loss. Can you imagine how much money this company makes on interest with other people's money. The size chart is a money making machine
