I did some work for Promomodels.com back in early November. I have been trying to get my pay since December. I was speaking with someone who works with the company named Kelly about it. She told me I would be payed early January. Early January rolled around and I had not received my payment. I called again to be told I would be payed definitely January 6 or 7. The 7th rolled around and still no payment in my mailbox. I called Kelly again and complained and she said she made a mistake and it would be here 100% the 14th or 15th. Today is the 15th. Still no payment in my mailbox. I called Kelly today and have not gotten a hold of her. I have been very nice and patient but was realying on that money 2 weeks ago for bills which now I have later charges on thanks to them jerking me around.
I got a hold of Lauren Hargrove, the Financial Manager. She told me that they were still processing the check. As I told her the situation she didn't seem empathetic and finally I had to be a bit mean and say, "NO, I need my money NOW!" in a mean tone. She immediately was like, "ok fine I'll send it out today." So WTF. They had the money all along and they were just jerking me around?! Let's see if they actually stick to their word this time. I doubt it. I am really unhappy with this and have another paycheck they owe me. I hope they actually pay it...: (
Don't work with them if you want your paycheck before three months later.
