Promomodels.com Aka Promo Models Agency
Promomodels.com NON PAYMENT FOR EVENTS WORKED Internet

I have also been waiting for payment on my events worked on the weekend of 1/13 and on 1/21. They owe me over $700. I also called my promo model booking agent who reffered me to "Lauren" who is in charge of the finances. She wrote me THE SAME EMAIL as the previous girl got after I inquired as to why I had not been paid since it was past the 60 day due date.

The email is as follows:

From: [email protected]
To: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Subject: Payment from Promo Models
Date: Tue, 18 Mar 10:44: 01 -0700

Hi Leslie,

First of all I want to say thank you for your patience. I just wanted to let you know where everything stands. This quarter has been very hectic due to the holiday break, catching up from before then, and having to get out over 10,000 1099s by January 31st. I want you to know that we have not forgotten about the event you worked for us and we understand that payment is past due. Please be as patient with us as you possibly can as we are working our hardest to get everything caught up and get tax forms out on time. You will receive an email when your check goes out. Make sure to add my email address to your Anti-Spam filter to ensure you get this (Spam filters like the word "promo" in our email and block us all the time J).

Again, I do not have an exact date as to when you can expect your check but know that we are working our hardest and thank you SO much for your patience. All inquires about checks can be made to me, not your account executive as I see when checks go out. Thanks again! J We appreciate you and your hard work!

I then wrote on April 1st stating that I needed my check and inquiring as to when it may be coming. NO RESPONSE SINCE!

I wrote an email today as follows and still nothing. They are obviously a scam so please, please, please do not work for this company. Here is my final email to her. I am going to start calling her 24/7 and hire a lawyer until this is resolved.

Lauren,

I still have not heard back from you since my previous email. It has now been over 3 months since I worked the Ducati event and coming up on 3 months for the Telecommand event. Which means you are now over 30 days past due on my payment. I was understanding about how you were swamped with 1099s etc. For the end of the year. However, it is now the April 15th and all of the end of year stuff has had more than enough time to be taken care of. I have never had such a hard time getting paid for my work. Your clients all loved me as a model and were like, "it's so nice to have a beautiful model with a great personalty, we have had some bad models in the past, it's always a crap shoot with hiring models, we are so happy to have you." I would love to work more events and I am not able to do so since who knows when I will be paid. Have the clients all paid you for my services? Should I contact them and tell them that, "Promo Models still has not paid me and I wanted to make sure that you did in fact pay Promo Models for my time"? I have their contact information and would be more than happy to investigate this issue. Please let me know asap what you are going to do to resolve this problem.
