"Nextel, now together with Sprint" is a straight out lie! Both companies operate on incompatible technologies. After a full year of complaining and interrupting my subscription (they sold me a Nextel phone in an area that was under Sprint coverage, and I was 70% unable to communicate), they finally replaced my high-tech i970 with a clumsy ic502 hybrid phone. Well, it failed to work on both networks, or it worked very seldom at best. Two weeks ago, they finally gave me a ic902 which does work better. Nonetheless, their "togetherness" is primarily limited to a financial opportunity. Unlike what I understood it to mean, a Nextel customer DOES NOT have Sprint area coverage, and vice versa.
I find it appalling that such outright misrepresentation can be tolerated. I will be glad to provide a list of the contacts I've had to anyone willing to seriously undertake a class-action lawsuit against these abusive thieves!
