I saw an ad on television offering customers the opportunity to purchase a computer back in July. The ad stated that all you needed was to have a valid checking account. I called the number and on July 31, Financing Alternatives began drafting $35.99 a week from my checking account. The terms were that if they continued this for a total of three months, that a computer of my choice would be shipped to me. After several attempts of trying to get them to ship my computer, I was always told that the computer was on back order. This went on until the last week in March. The first week in April I didn't have the funds readily availble and I was told that I would have to start over again with another successful three months of payments before they could ship my computer. Needless to say, I was not happy, so I asked that my money be refunded. I was told that I could not be refunded until I requested it in writing. It was then that I called the Better Business Bureau and was told to contact the B B B in Norfolk. I was then told to get all my bank statements together, but I could find them all. I felt like it was just a lost cause, until I decided to check the internet where I saw that other people were complaining about this company.
