Financing Alternatives Inc "Pcs For All" Blue Hippo, Liberty Financial
Financing Alternatives, Inc. Started bi monthly payments, from 11/06 to 7/07, (183.96/month) then billing stopped, and I did not get my computer, OR a refund! Did purchase and receive a desk top from same company in 2005 or so

I had paid for and received a desk top from FAI (Financing ALternatives, INC.) around spring or early summer of 2005. I thought, why not a laptop? Entered a contract in November of bi -monthly statements from my checking account ($187/ month) from November until July.

In July of I continued to get billed bi monthly for the whole amount of the computer, ($2266.48) but the monthly statements stopped coming, and I did not receive a computer, or a refund. Not even a letter explaining the circumstances.

Every so often, I tried to contact them, to no avail. Life went on, as it does, and in going through some old paperwork during a move, I came across the FAI papers, and decided to investigate further. Found out that the company was sued for fraud in July of by the Attoerney General of Virginia.

I am still holding out hope for some sort of compensation, however.
