On 11/19/07 I made a very short phone call 30-60 seconds long from Aruba to USA, they charged me $43.62 {$5.00 - I was charged for the Illinois state and municipal taxes by AT$T, why? }
When I called the company they blamed me for not finding out before hand. There was no prices on the phone, nor person to ask, it was all automated. So, i was blamed.
Later i used a phone card to call, it cost 50cents per minute, not $49.00 and it worked the same way via satellite.
I was frustrated, angry & upset. After this ordeal the company offered to give me credit for $17.56. I did not accept this & asked to speak with supervisor or anybody who has more power to resolve this, I was told to call next day, I also was told that I may loose the credit that they offer me today.
This is wrong, later i found out that this company was suspended for doing this by the California Secretary of State. I am not the only one, it could be anybody.
