I am having such a terrible time with this company. First off I received a phone call from a very nice woman who worked for this company's customer service. She used very proper English and even at one point called me back when I accidentally hung up on her. I even complimented her to the supervisor that I spoke with.

The entire phone call I kept questioning their company and basically the woman on the phone lied to me. At one point I said to her, "So basicaly you are telling me that I get 5 magazine subscriptions for 5 years for only $300?" And she replied with a simple "yes." Then I get the invoice in the mail a few days later only to find that what I had signed up for was a 5 magazine subscription for 5 years at a mere price of over $1,200!

So, on that invoice it said I had 5 business days to send a certified letter back to them notifying I wanted to cancel the account and I would incure no penalty fee's. I send the letter. At this current moment the letter is sitting at the Norfolk post office because Family Readers Club has failed to pick it up.

This is basically where I stand and am unsure on what to do next. I am definitely going to call them and simply state that I complied with all your rules and regulations, can you please comply with me now? Hopefully it will get me somewhere. I will update on what happens next.
