I believe that Patriotic Readers Club has scammed me. Approximately two years ago I ordered magazines from PublishersClearing House. Several months later I got a call from what I believed was PublishersClearing House, but was apparently PatrioticReaders Club. The person on the phone deceptively led me to believe thiswas regarding my previous subscriptions and tricked me into new subscriptions Idid not want. Now Patriotic Readersrefuses to cancel my subscriptions. I have sent back every magazine I havereceived for the last year. I havecalled and sent a letter to Patriotic Readers. (See included letter) I have received zero satisfaction and horrendouscustomer service. I havecontacted my credit card company and tried to cancel the $49.95 monthly payment, howeverthey are unable to help me without a cancellation number, date or timeThere is an extraordinary abundance of complaints aboutPatriotic Readers available online. A simple search for Patriotic Readerson Google produces an enormous of complaints and testimonials on variouscomplaint sites. I cannot afford these subscriptions and I do not want thesemagazines that I have not been reading for a year. This has been a veryexpensive and stressful experience for me. My family is struggling financially and this money, that Ibelieve has been effectively stolen from me, is sorely missed. I believe Ideserve a refund.
