In April my wife and I spent most of the day there buying our bike because of there mess ups. When we finially did start signing papers we purchased the HD extended warranty on the bike, but when discussing the HD extended warranty on tires, was told that would raise my payment and would be a pain to get covered. At this time the manager of the finace department told our agent to just give us the "Arrowhead Tire replacement warranty, for all the problems we had gone through that day". He explained how much better this warraty was, because if had tire problem the just have it towed in and they would replace it and we would be on our way. We thought this was great and thanked them. During the rest of the signing my wife asked 3 different times if we were getting anything in writing for the tire warranty, and each time was told "no, because we keep that information in our compter, and you won't need anything in writing that way".
7 months later a ways from home had a rear tire slice open, and right away called Arrowhead to have it towed in because we had the tire warranty. The next day when I went to pick up the bike they gave me a bill for $481 saying I did not have any tire warranty. I even went to the finance man we had dealt with and he said he did not remember that. Finially the floor manager siad he would pay for the tire if I paid the towing and labor, $213... I have heard of this happening to someone else since, same story. Have tried repeatedly to call and talk to the General Manager, but all attempts have failed. I sent them 3 emails with no reply's.
