I presented a radial tire (P215/75R-14) for a road hazard warranty adjustment along with my documentation.
After Schwab's examination of the tire I was informed the tire was unrepairable and the warranty did not apply. Although there was a hole in the tire, there was not significant damage to indicate a "road hazard". They expressed their opinion the damage was inflicted by a vandal and they would not honor the Warranty.
I took the tire and left the establishment.
The tire was adjusted by another Les Schwab/Schaub-Ellison Co.in Fife, Wa. They explained it was easier for them to "eat" a $25 tire than the other store.
