AT&T being such a big company has been a real bloodsucker of induviduals and families. I had orderd telephone and DSL service last year, Only telephone service was initiated.
NEVER mailed the DSL modem but kept on charging for the DSL service. When tried to contact the customer service 800 number directs us to collections department which says pay all bills before we could talk to you. Later they went ahead and terminated my account for non payment and charged an early termination fee of $100.
Isnt this a big scam
FIRST Donot provide service or provide only partial service
SECOND Cannot talk to any customer service, unless you agree to pay what they ask
THIRD Terminate service and charge early termination fee
When I did internet search there are thousands of similar complaints, hopefully media or a consumer protection group should take upo this issue. We as single induviduals cannot fight these big compainies, who are experts in scamming.
