This was first & last time for me. Tornado Office Systems called early in the
morning.informed me that they had spoken with the controller of our company (gave his first name, middle intial, last name). They said that they had talked with him and were told to talk to the office manager ask for me (by
name). They went on to give me the list of items that they say they were told we frequently use. They informed me that they were liquidating their inventory and had some really good deals. They went on to asking if we use
this and that (like post it notes, scotch tape, sharpies, ball point pens, etc.)
I was asked the quantity that I usually purchased. At no time was I informed
that when you tell them 1 package that you actually get 1 gross. Our company received 5 boxes via UPS Ground of office supplies that were supposedly ordered verbally. I have tried calling them multiple times only to get a recording of a raspy woman asking us to leave a name and number
so that they can get back to us shortly. I have actually talked to one person
there, she took my name and number, but have not heard from them at all.
The order date on the packing list says 10/01/07, but we have not received
an invoice of any sort for all of this product. At this moment we are currently
holding the merchandise until their is resolution on this issue.
We will see what happens!!!
